- There is also a good bus service to the West End.
- The number 73 from Euston Road and the number 7 from Russell Square are within easy access.
- The Picadilly line connects Russell Square with Heathrow Airport and the Thameslink line next to Kings Cross station connects with Gatwick Airport.
- There is a nearby supermarket in the Brunswick Centre near Russell Square and the area is served by many small interesting shops and restaurants

We found the apartment location very convenient, especially the proximity to the Holborn tube station and the bus stops on Southampton Row (the trip to Waterloo Station was approx 15 mins) and an easy walk to Covent Garden and theatres. While we didn’t visit any of the many nearby restaurants, we found the Sainsburys opposite Holborn tube station and the Tesco Express across the road from the apartment very convenient. The apartment kitchen contained all that we needed including the washing machine which was easy to operate. We were surprised at how quiet it was in the apartment considering the address on such a busy street and really appreciated the leafy outlook from the bedroom and lounge windows. We felt very secure in the building and appreciated the lift from the entry lobby to the apartment level. The facilities were pleasantly spacious and very clean and we would definitely consider staying at this apartment for future trips.Thank you so much,Jenny & Ian Muir

Perfect location for business traveller and tourist; easy access to Piccadilly line (Heathrow) tube, buses, and trains. Grocery, restaurants, movie theatre, and other shops just around the corner and a great pub two doors down. Safe, secure neighbourhood, and booking/correspondence was timely and accurate. Great location – near great restaurants with fantastic attention paid by United Rentals to our every need. We were delighted that there is so much bustling activity nearby but that Sandwich St, was so quiet! Close to trains, busses, and the tube, and only a 20 minute walk from Central London made this an ideal place to stay, and we were sad to leave!! We will be staying there again!

Over the last 10 years we have stayed in more than 10 places in London. We stayed for two weeks in November in this twin bedroom ground floor apartment. It was excellent on every conceivable
criteria. The location is quiet. The overall impression is that you are living in a home not just a short term let. The paintings and
decoration are very tasteful. There are oriental carpets on most floors. The kitchen is very well equipped and has a combination convection/microwave oven which means oven cooking can be done easily. Most major supermarkets are within walking distance from the apartment. The bathroom mirror was very well lit and this makes shaving straightforward rather than a chore. This is an aspect missing from virtually every other London rental we have used. The
lounge area is spacious. The bathroom has an excellent shower with individual control of temperature and flow to both the overhead and
hand held shower fitting. The supplied towels were high quality. The lighting in every room was good – not dark like in so many rentals. There is a generous number of power points in every room. Heating was
hydronic and quite capable. We had to turn it down from the default settings. The beds were firm – amongst the best we have ever experienced in our travels.
